Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! Summer is now in full swing and it has me thinking about the beach, an incidentally, old beach movies. One of my all time favorite beach movie’s is Gidget with Sandra Dee. My mom rented the original of the Gidget movies for me when I was little, and that started my love affair with classic beach movies. So, I thought this week I’d curate a collection of vintage finds inspired by the original Gidget movie. Check em’ out:
Here’s a little clip from the original Gidget movie:
And here are my vintage finds inspired by the movie:

I’ll be back next week with more fun vintage finds. Until then…
Happy Shopping!

Oh, yeah love all the Gidget movies and I have the 1960s t.v. show DVDs…part of my childhood viewing, too. I also found a $5 DVD on the real Gidget but haven’t watched it yet.

That’s awesome! I love watching the show, it comes on antennae tv in my area. The original movie is still my favorite! They are all fantastic really 🙂
