A pineapple upside down cake made in a cast iron skillet. One of the best cakes I have ever had in my life! And it was gluten free…

This past week has been really awesome! Daryl and I took Beau to the beach in Wilmington this past weekend to celebrate our seventh wedding anniversary. It was a gorgeous day! Beau had a wonderful time playing on the beach and we had a great lunch date downtown! My sister Hannah is home this week for spring break and we have been having a great time together! I took her to get her new batman tattoo on Tuesday at Blue Flame down in Raleigh. They did a fantastic job! I also had the pleasure of attending a showing of the Fever Dreams film series directed by our friend Rob Underhill down in Raleigh last night. It was a wonderful series and I can’t wait to see what they come out with next! I will be sharing more from the event very soon. Today was spent running errands, and hanging out with Hannah Banana. Getting ready for a busy weekend. One of my favorite antiques dealers is retiring and they are having an auction for her remaining stock. I am so sad to see her go! I’ll be back next week with more photos. Have a beautiful week everyone!
