DIY Leather and Rhinestone Wrap Bracelet

Hi guys! I first saw this idea on Pinterest from Honestly WTF  last year and thought I have to make one of these! Like most things that I see and want to make, it takes me a looong time to actually get around to making them. I had some fat leather lacing around and decided to give the bracelet a try with some rhinestone chain and bright floss. I was pleasantly surprised that this little bracelet was not only fun and easy to make, but it was fast to whip up as well. This is a fantastic project for a weeknight, or a Sunday afternoon!

Here’s What You Need:

*Leather Cord or Lacing

*Rhinestone Chain

*Embroidery Floss

*End Clamps if using flat lacing and a clasp

*Jump Rings

*Charms

*Jewelry Pliers and scissors

Instructions:

You can see the full tutorial on Honestly WTF Here. I made mine slightly different. I used flat lacing for my bracelet, but I wrapped the floss around the leather and chain like the original tutorial. To finish off my ends I clamped off the ends with some end clamps. I added a lobster clasp and some charms to the clasp area as well for a little extra flair.

This bracelet is seriously as much fun to wear as it was to make! I love the styling of it, and I adore the colors! I will definitely have to make some more of these for my sisters for Christmas this year. Have any of you guys given this wrapped leather bracelet a try before? I’d love to see yours too! I’ll be back next week with more fun DIY’s. Until then…

Happy Crafting!
