Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all have had an amazing week! Today I would like to share one of my favorite Etsy Vintage shops with you all, Sushipot Vintage. This shop is so wickedly quirky with items ranging from old rubber bouncy balls and wooden robots to antique glass slides and anatomy book ephemera. Suzanna Scott, the curator and owner behind the shop, is not only a great collector, but also an artist herself. She creates the coolest mixed media vintagesque art, which she sells in her other etsy shop Sushipot Studio Here. I hope to share more of her shop with you all sometime soon. Until then, here are some of my favorite items from Suzanna’s vintage shop:

Hello everyone! Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! We finally got our hvac fixed this weekend, so we are all very excited! Yellow always makes me think of spring, sunny spring days, and of course the yellow pine pollen that coats everything outside for weeks. Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! Today I have a special bunch of vintage finds to share with you all. When I was ten my mom rented Top Hat (with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers) for me to watch. I instantly fell head over heels in love with old Hollywood musicals! Fred and Ginger movies still being some of my all time favorites! I recently came across a film I hadn’t seen in a while, Swing Time. I have a video clip trailer from the movie you can watch below. Fred and Ginger are just great in this movie, and the song selection is fantastic including Astaire singing “The Way You Look Tonight.” So, my finds this week are inspired by Swing Time, and Fed and Ginger’s characters Lucky and Penny. The wardrobe and dance numbers alone make this movie a must see! So be sure to add this one to your queue!

Living in the south, our winters are usually pretty mild in comparison to other states. I’m not a big fan of cold weather, I’d like it to be 70 degrees everyday. One of my favorite things on the internet these days is Pinterest! I love how I am able to find amazing things and connect with people who share my style and interests! I see and have discovered so many blogs and shops from finding pins and following pinners who are like me that I know I never would have seen otherwise. It’s so cool! I am on Pinterest every day, it’s my nightly ritual as I go to sleep clutching my iphone. I only pin when I find something I really love, so my boards aren’t huge. But I like it that way.
