Some Big News From Beau and Annie!

I’m sure a few of you have been wondering where the heck I have been over the last couple of months. We are really excited to share some big news with you all. Today I am seventeen weeks pregnant! Beau and Annie are getting a human brother or sister! I am still in disbelief a little since we went through quite a journey to get here. We had a little struggle with infertility. But after three years of trying and three treatment cycles we were blessed with this pregnancy. My hubby and I are both over the moon!

The main reason I had to take a hiatus from the blog is that my first trimester was a bit rough. I had some morning sickness, I was more tired than I think I have ever been in my life, and I was motion sick every time I looked at a screen. It is amazing how hormones and these things can affect you. But I am feeling quite a bit better and I am ready to get back into more of a regular schedule here on the blog.

My mom and I have been having fun planning a nursery for the baby and I have a bunch of projects I want to make for my little one that I can’t wait to share with you too as they get made. I promise I will not be throwing too much baby things up here. I still have a bunch of upcycled projects to share with you too! And I am hoping to share some fun vintage holiday projects with you all too in November. I’ve got some big plans for the rest of the year!

So, I am officially due on December 28th. We may end up with a Christmas baby. The holidays will be extra special this year! I am sure I will be sharing some more photos with you all as my belly gets bigger. Right now I am just starting to show. My mom took the photos I posted here today. We had fun with my crazy dogs and she managed to get a good one of my belly, even though I really had to stick it out. I am looking forward to getting into nesting and sharing my journey along with all of my friends and followers.
