03-DSC_0126 (3)Hey everybody! Today I am going to share a super easy and quick Halloween diy with you, my spider covered glitter frame. You can get most of what you need at the dollar store. The best part is that it can be made in less than half an hour, which makes this perfect for a weeknight craft!

Here’s What You Need:

*Black Frame (I got mine at Dollar Tree)

*Black Glitter

*Mod Podge or Clear Drying Craft Glue

*Halloween Spiders( I got mine at Dollar Tree)

*Hot Glue

Instructions:

First, gather up all your supplies. If you can remove the glass, do so at this time, if not, tape up the edges of the glass.

Paint a thin layer of decoupage medium on your frame. You can paint it all at once if you are quick, or you can work in sections.

Once you have your decoupage medium painted on, sprinkle glitter all over the wet medium. Carefully lift up edges and tapp the frame gently to remove excess glitter.

Set your frame aside to dry. Once the medium has dried well, you can add the spiders. Add a dab of hot glue to the belly of a spider. Glue the spider down to the frame where you want it. Glue more spiders on in the same way until you have a look you are happy with. I di one side of my frame and then the top opposite corner on mine, but you could just as easily cover the whole frame, or do even less. Once the glue has dried, you are ready to add your art print and enjoy!

02-DSC_0130 (3)I think it turned out pretty dang cute! I love the art print with it from The Cottage Market! It is one of four designs. You can find them all Here. I used stretchy spiders since they looked a little creepier to me, however you can use any kind of creepy crawly you like! I love this frame so much, I think I may make another one with some little snakes. I’ll be back tomorrow with a cut Halloween plushie! Until then…

Happy Crafting!
