Happy Monday everybody! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We cleaned up the back porch and have been enjoying the beautiful weather! Last night we grilled steaks and caught an episode of Columbo on METV. My hubby likes to tease me because when I do watch television it’s always metv! For those of you unfamiliar with the station it plays classic tv shows 24/7. It has all of my favorite shows, including my favorite tv western, The Rifleman. The show stars Chuck Connors as Lucas McCain, a rancher raising his young son Mark in late 1800’s New Mexico. It’s got all the classic western action you’d expect, as well as moral lessons. The thing I love the most about the show is the sweetness and compassion of the main characters. You can read more about this awesome western on the show’s webpage Here. So, this week I thought it would be fun to curate a little collection of vintage finds based on The Rifleman.
