Hey Guys! Welcome to the second day of my 12 Days of Christmas! Today I am going to be sharing another jewelry diy with you all, Vintage Christmas Button Bracelets! These little bracelets are pretty darn easy to make and wicked fun to wear! It’s a great way to repurpose old buttons too!
Here’s What You Need:
*Large Jump Rings
*Large Lobster Clasp
First, gather all of your buttons. I counted out my links, which was 24, so I made sure I had at least 24 buttons. I added a button to each link. Begin by grabbing a button and a large jump ring. Open up the jump ring with your jewelry pliers. Load your button onto the jump ring through one of the buttonholes. Load a link of chain onto the jumpring with the button and close the jumpring up. Then repeat the same with the other buttons and links, attaching a button charm to each link of chain until you get to the end. Check out the way the bracelet lays out on your wrist. You may need to flip some of the buttons over so that they lay face up when on your wrist. It’s easy to do this, just open the jump ring up remove from the link, and then flip over and attach to the link again. To finish off the bracelet, add a few charms to the ends with jump rings and attach your lobster clasp to one end. Now you are ready to wear.
I LOVE this festive bracelet! It is so much fun to wear! I am a little bit of a sucker for charm bracelets, and vintage buttons make fantastic charms! You can totally customize this bracelet by the color and style of buttons you use. This bracelet would make a fun gift for your favorite gals, or make one to wear for your next holiday party. I’ll be back tomorrow with more holiday fun! Until then…
