DIY Cute Vintage Halloween Belljars

Hi guys! Today I am going to share my little Halloween bell jars with you guys! As some of you know, bell jars are not anything new around here. I make them for just about every holiday. I am a sucker for holidays, especially Halloween! These are made just like my Vintage Inspired Bell Jars from last Christmas. You can see the full tutorial here. I love making these! I have included a free printable for you all to make some of your own this year.

Here’s What You Need:

*Plastic Wine Glasses

*Dremmel with a cutting wheel

*Scrapbook Paper

*Scalloped Punch

*Chipboard (think cereal boxes)

*Rubber Cement

*Hot Glue

*Free Printable

*Halloween Miniatures

*Glass Beads

*Pipe Cleaners

*Confetti, Glitter, etc…

Instructions:

First you need to cut the stems off of your wine glasses. Trim them off with your dremmel close to the cup. Now punch two pieces of scrapbook paper and one piece of chipboard. Apply rubber cement to the paper and chipboard and glue down the paper to the chipboard on the front and the back. Now decide on what you will put in your jar. Glue it down to the middle of the base. If using the printable, cut out the image leaving a space at the bottom to turn under and glue the tab to the base. Next run a bead of glue around the rim of the wine glass, and glue down to the base. Add glitter or confetti if you wish. Glue a bead to the top of the jar. Wrap a piece of pipe cleaner around a pencil to form the curly and glue it into the top hole on the bead. Wrap half of a pipe cleaner around the tip of the jar under the bead. Cut a piece of pipe cleaner the size of your base and glue down where the bottom of the glass meets the base all the way around, starting and ending in the back. And that’s it.

Aren’t they so fun! I LOVE making these little jars! You should make some too, you’ll love them! They look cute tucked into your Halloween decor on a shelf, and they also look cute in a grouping. I have a few of these jars available for sale in my shop here. You can also find the kits to make your own here. I’ll be back next week with more Halloween fun. Until then…

Happy Crafting!

How absolutely adorable!!! I’m already thinking these would be darling as Christmas ornaments (make the top “curly” into a hanger.) So many possibilities!!!!

I was wondering, where did you get the image for the trick or treaters at the door? It’s super cute!

Hi Tiff! I actually found this adorable image in one of my old women’s day magazines. I think it was in the front with the contents. It’s one of my all time faves!
